We got rollerblades at a thrift store. The kids like to golf cart down to the gym to skate.
Avery had his first ever soccer game. Go Red Falcons!
We visited the D's who were camping at Vogel on an arts and crafts fair weekend.
They loved the clever puzzle maker/magician man.
I thought the September lake water was a little on the chilly side but Curtis is always a good sport about playing with the kids in cold water.
Here she is again, my friend Jenny. :)
"Kids, don't throw sand!" So glad they always listen.
It's funny how lake bathing suits take on the color of their surroundings.
It's official! At age 5 and 3 months we're riding a two wheeler!
This one finally mastered enough balance to ride a scooter. We'll get bike riding conquered one of these days!
Kindergarten doesn't take too long each day, then she has to entertain herself for awhile. I found her working on a domino pretzel one day.
On September 23 this one turned 7! Here he is with his birthday yogurt for breakfast.
"Elizabeth, let me help you with your hair. Mom's taking pictures."
Birthday cards and presents are a grea tway to start the day.
Yesss!!! Chima speedors!!!
Avery chose the usual Sunflower restaurant for his birthday dinner. We are fancy around here.
One night we did the tourist thing and went to play Putt Putt in Helen.
Amelia got a pair of glasses from the Walmart Vision Center. She doesn't need glasses. I remember glasses being NOT fun but that's probably because I had to wear them.
"Fore!!" (Or more like FOUR...teen. That's about how many strokes I had per hole.)
The older kids had their first soccer game at the beginning of the month. I was going to take pictures but there was a torrential downpour during the entire game. A great way to break us in and see how serious we are as soccer parents!
The sideline squad, Tozer, Avery, and Elizabeth.
We played on a team with our buddy Elliott H.
One evening we had a visitor who was trying to swipe some cat food.
James finally banished him with a broom.
We always take an end of summer vacation with Mom and Dad and Jonathan and Lisa and their girls. This year we stayed a week in a house on Lake Martin in Alabama. It had a great shallow swim area to play in.
Daddy has come up with a new workout.
Handstands on the water are cool!
The house was owned by a grandma we found through VRBO who had the place well outfitted for kids.
Classic vacation fun! ZZzzzzzz.....
Avery lost some serious teeth this week.
Jordan had to do a little school while on vacation.
Moths to a flame.
On the hunt for muscadines with Grandad.
Another tooth!
Seems like our vacation always falls during Lisa's birthday.
And finally, yes, another one. Poor kid can't eat!
